About me

Hi, I’m Randi and I’m the person behind Twelfth House. I use she/they pronouns and I am a somatic coach, movement teacher, herbalist, artist, writer, and eternal student.

In western astrology, the twelfth house represents the parts of self and life that are hidden from us — parts of us that are below the surface of our consciousness, away from the light of our natal Sun. Although the twelfth house is often connected to secrets, pain, and other experiences that are culturally marginalized, ignored, or made taboo, as a person with their natal sun (in Cancer) in the twelfth house, I related to this house as the deepest and most essential parts of my root system. Here lies the parts of me that exists underground and that, although it is often challenging to perceive, support me, nourish me, define me, stabilize me, and connect me with collective. As a twelfth house dweller, I believe that there isn’t anything down in here that we cannot see, feel, or experience if we are willing to turn our attention inward and downward — into our bodies and the depths of our root systems. Therein lies our knowing, our vision, our belonging, and the source of our aliveness.
